Itinerary:

1st Day - (Thursday 3rd October): Jaisalmer - Arrival & Sightseeing

Approx Distance: 150 Km

Meet & Greet on arrival at Jaisalmer Railway Station / Airport & transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel. Later start for jaisalmer local sightseeing Visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why it’s known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. After that visit Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli. Salim singh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

2nd Day - (Friday 4th October): Jaisalmer to Tanot/Longewala - Day Excursion

Approx Distance: 250 Km

After breakfast start for excursion to Tanot Mata Temple and Longewala Border. Tanot Mata Temple: Arrive at Tanot Mata Temple, a significant temple located near the India-Pakistan border. This temple is famous for its association with the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, where the temple was miraculously protected from enemy bombings. Explore the temple complex, known for its intricate architecture and spiritual significance. Offer prayers to Goddess Tanot Mata, the deity worshipped at the temple, and seek her blessings.

Longewala Border Post: After visiting Tanot Mata Temple, proceed towards the Longewala border post, which holds historical importance. It was the site of a crucial battle during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Learn about the heroic defence put up by the Indian soldiers against the enemy forces and the strategic significance of the location.

War Memorial: Pay homage to the brave soldiers who fought during the Battle of Longewala by visiting the War Memorial. The memorial commemorates the sacrifices made by the Indian Army and serves as a reminder of their valor and dedication. Return back to Jaisalmer. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer

3rd Day - (Saturday 5th October): Jaisalmer to sam sand dunes - Local Sightseeing

Approx Distance: 150 Km

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why it’s known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. In evening proceed for camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes & you can experience the spectacular view of Sun set in Thar desert. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

4th Day - (Sunday 6th October): Jaisalmer - Departure

Approx Distance: 100 Km

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Jaisalmer Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey.
